Gucci Resort 2013 Campaign

Gucci’s new campaign for their Resort 2013 collection offers color and warmth in these current winter months. Models Karmen Pedaru and Joan Smalls light up the advertisements, captured by legendary photography duo, Mert & Marcus. The girls adorned chic accessories like chocolate leather clutches, oversized python satchels, and pendant chain necklaces. Apparel for the Resort season is painted in bright pastels, coordinated in monochromatic pantsuits or sweet garden party dresses. Gucci’s color palette is phenomenal, a brilliant mix of Kelly green, sky blue, lilac, and blush. There is a lack of prints and patterns in the new collection, however, the use of solid colored separates give a sense of elegance, simplicity, and sophistication.
